Today's results showed us solid consistency across all venues, with three winners and multiple close finishes in what turned out to be a competitive day of racing.
In Coonamble, Ahellbenda claimed a confident win in Race 3, paying $3.50. Earl of Bantry and Not Written Off performed well, securing second place in Races 6 and 8, respectively. Foxstorm, unfortunately, didn't meet expectations in Race 2, finishing 10th.
Over at Geraldton, King Akeed came through as another standout, winning Race 5 and delivering a $3.00 payout. Queen Nardi and Amarlime placed second and third in their respective races, showing promise for future black book contenders.
Seymour gave us a good mix of results, with Kahhof taking second place in Race 8 and Son of Zorro finishing third in Race 5. The scratched Olive Baguette was an alternate substitute for Hot Too Go, who placed second in Race 4. Markdel also claimed third in Race 1.
At Townsville, Memphis Shadow won in Race 7, paying $3.10, while Moktaffy secured second in Race 6. It was a near miss for Last Ditch Effort and Moet At Midnight, who finished third in fields that didn't meet the 8-horse requirement for a place payout.
